 Rod Miller Headshot

Rod Miller leads the global expert services firm Executive Institutional Advancement Exchange to bring innovation and insight to empower leadership vision. He has consulted widely and led institutional advancement in higher education and a university health system, and has served as vice president at one of the world’s leading research institutions, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York. Rod has helped to secure substantial funds and has initiated strategy and execution for campaigns with goal accomplishments of more than $600 million. 

As an author and commentator on best practices to lead large-scale gains, he is a frequent speaker at senior leadership, advancement and communication conferences. Rod served for many years as core fundraising faculty at Indiana University’s Center on Philanthropy, teaching and marketing The Fund Raising School’s basic and advanced courses. He is now faculty and an advisory board member at Philanthropy Leadership Advancement Nexus (PLAN).
